The first category is the principal academic psychology. The fields in this category are the basic areas of psychology and the fields are covered with a degree in psychology. These fields are abnormal psychology (the study of abnormal behavior and disorders), biological (the study of how genetics influence the evolution, physiology and behavior), cognitive (the study of how internal processes to help us understand our environment) , development (study of changes over time), personality (the study of human individuality) and social psychology (the study of how people relate to each other).
The second main category is the professional psychology. These are the areas of psychology, each with a different route. Each category requires training and education. Included in the Professional Division is a clinical psychology (with the psychological theories and practices to the mismatches and to reduce disability), assessment (using psychological methods to increase the role), educational psychology (the application in a school), legal (the use of criminal law), health psychology (the study of biology, health behavior and social context influence), the psychology of work (the application of psychological theories and technical work to increase efficiency), and sport psychology (the study of how the psychological effects of sport).
